Course Description
"Passing Tones"
The Key to Making Your Piano Playing Flowing Music...
Passing tones are those "moving parts"
you hear in music -- the flowing current beneath the melody and passing through
the chords. They are usually below the melody and move as either single notes or
3rds, but sometimes even in triads.
You will learn how to use passing tones to make a boring chord interesting; to
point to the melody, and just add to the flavor of the song as you make your
music flow.
This is a fairly advanced course, so make sure you know chords well before you
take this course.
